Mountain Biking Castalia Quarry Reserve
#86 of 113 mountain bike trails in Ohio
The main trail is is composed of gravel road and double track that loops around the quarry. The first 1.5 miles is a steady climb, followed by a steady downhill. There is a turnoff on the downhill that leads to a nice, short .4 mile singletrack with some hills and turns.
This trail is somewhat popular in the spring for locals as it dries out before other area trails and there are no good trails around it. Do not go out of your way to ride this trail, but if you do, look out for all of the walkers.
