As far as rail trails go, this is one of the best around. Drainage is always good, and the trail is well-maintained. Lots of nice scenery to enjoy along the way
Old rail trail, flat and wide. A great place to cruise with a group. Lots of road crossings and some washed out sections so be aware and ready to stop. Yield to pedestrians and horses! Stop at the Long Valley brewpub on your way out.
Very long wide path that goes from High Birdge to Chester. The whole path is gravel and has some high traffic with bikers, runners, and horse riders. The trail is completely flat. My only complaint is that it gets boring very quickly. I think there should also be an option to check in from the High Bridge side.
Really nice well kept trail. Very easy with no technical aspects but a blast for speed work although please respect other trail users.
